Recruiting
Personal links
Share your own application links so applicants come to you
A personal link is an application page with your name on it. Anyone who applies through one lands in your CRM, already tagged with how you met them.
Set your handle
Your links are built from a handle you pick, so you can say it out loud and someone can type it.
- Go to Recruiting and open Personal Links.
- Type the handle you want and save it.
Every link updates to use it. Do this before you share anything.
Copy a link to share
- Pick which link you need:
| Link | Send it when |
|---|---|
| Happenstance | You met the person yourself, in the world or through your social media bio |
| Social Media | They came from a paid campaign you're running |
- Choose which address you want it on. Both go to exactly the same application; the only difference is what the person sees in their address bar.
- Click copy, and send it.
Why the link matters
The link records how you met the person. Send the wrong one and their source is wrong forever, because nobody goes back and fixes it later. The split is about who paid for the attention: if you spent money to get in front of them, it's a campaign; if they came to you, it's happenstance.
