Take a quiz, and retake it if you don't pass
A quiz sits at the foot of the page it belongs to. Passing it is what completes the page and unlocks the next one.
Take a quiz
- Scroll to the quiz at the foot of the page.
- Check the line above it: how many questions, the score you need to pass, and the time limit if there is one.
- Click Start quiz if there is a start screen. A quiz with no time limit and no previous pass opens ready to answer.
- Answer every question. Multiple choice takes one answer, and a question that says Select all that apply takes as many as apply.
- Click Submit.
Submit stays greyed out until every question has an answer.
A timed quiz shows a countdown while you work and submits itself when the clock runs out, so answer the ones you are sure of first.
Read your result
Your score is at the top, and every question is marked right or wrong with any explanation the quiz carries. Where a question was worth partial credit, it says what you earned out of what it was worth.
Pass and the next page unlocks immediately. If you do not pass, the page stays where it is.
Retake a quiz
- Click Try again, either on the result or on the quiz's start screen.
- Answer again and submit.
There is no limit on attempts. Your best score is what counts, so an attempt can never cost you a score you already earned.
Read the page again before retrying. The start screen shows your best score so far and the score you need, which tells you how far off you are.
Retake one you already passed
Click Retake for practice. Your pass is kept whatever happens, so there is no risk in it.
If the questions come up in a different order
Some quizzes shuffle their questions on purpose, so the order changes between attempts. The questions themselves are the same.
If Next is still locked after a quiz
Next unlocks on a pass, not on an attempt. If you submitted and did not reach the passing score, the page is not complete yet. Check your score on the result, review the page, and click Try again.
