Overview
Let a workflow do your outreach for you
An automation calls or texts your new applicants for you, follows up, and hands them back when they respond. Turn one on and it runs on every applicant of yours that hits its trigger.
Turn one on
- Go to Recruiting and open Automations.
- Find the workflow for the stage you want covered. They're grouped by stage.
- Toggle it on.
From then on it starts by itself whenever one of your applicants hits its trigger. You don't start it per person.
Some workflows cost credits each time they run. The price is on the workflow before you turn it on, and it comes out of your wallet.
Take over from a running automation
Only one automation can work an applicant at a time, so while it runs their forward actions are put away.
- Open the applicant.
- Click cancel on the automation.
- The normal actions come back and you work them by hand.
You don't have to cancel it to call, text, or email them yourself. Those are always available.
See how it went
Open the applicant and check Activity. The automation records what happened when it finished: they responded, they were unreachable, the number was bad, they asked not to be contacted, or it simply ran out of steps.
Check this before you pick up the phone so you're not repeating a call they already got.
