Appointments
Book a sit, move it, and mark what happened
Book an appointment
Booking starts from a call, because the call is what gets you the appointment.
- Open the lead and click Call.
- Click Book Appointment. The call is logged as soon as you do, whether or not you end up picking a time.
- Pick the date and time, or click Now for a sit you are about to run on the spot.
- Check the three day calendar underneath for anything you are already booked into. Click a slot in it to set the time instead of typing it.
- Click Confirm.
From the Calls step it is the same two taps, and the time picker shows your slots for the day. The slot the clock is currently inside reads Now and books an instant presentation.
The lead moves to Scheduled and the sit appears on your agenda and your schedule.
Mark what happened
Do this after the sit. An unmarked sit stays on your agenda indefinitely.
- Open Sales and go to the Appointments step. Days up to and including today are already open.
- Open the lead from its row.
- Click Show if they attended, or No Show if they did not.
- On a lead you marked Show, click Launch Presentation to run the presentation and submit it.
Marking Show is not the end of it. The sit stays on your agenda until the presentation is submitted, because that is what records the outcome.
A No Show lead goes back to the Leads step the next day so you can rebook it.
Move or cancel a sit
- Reschedule keeps the lead where it is and asks for a new date and time. Pick one and click Reschedule.
- Cancel calls the sit off. The lead goes back to the Leads step to be worked again.
Both are on the appointment itself, inside the lead.
Promise a callback instead
A callback is not an appointment. It is a time you said you would ring back, and it completes the moment you next contact them.
- Click Call, then Schedule Callback.
- Pick a date and time and click Confirm Callback.
No time agreed? Click Log Callback instead. The call is still recorded.
To drop a callback you no longer intend to make, click Cancel on it.
Find the sits that still need something
Each day on your agenda says how many of its sits still need resolving. A sit counts as needing attention when it has passed and is still waiting on a mark or on a submitted presentation.
Set the Attention filter to Needs attention to see only those, across every day at once. Nothing owed shows the rest.
Why a sit isn't on the agenda
The agenda shows today forward, plus every past sit that still needs something from you. So:
- A canceled sit is never listed. Its lead is back under Leads.
- A no show from yesterday or earlier is not listed. Its lead is back under Leads to rebook.
- A sit you marked and presented on drops off once the presentation is submitted. Find it under results.
To see the sits on a lead regardless of any of this, open the lead and look at its Appointments tab. Every sit it has ever had is there, including the canceled ones.
