Practice presentations

Run a presentation without a real prospect

A practice run opens the real presentation with the real slides and script, against nobody. No lead is created and no prospect is contacted, so you can run the whole thing as many times as you like.

Practice a presentation

  1. Open Dashboard.
  2. Under Presos Performed, find the card for the lead type you want to practice and click Start Preso.
  3. Choose the language and the state you are practicing for.
  4. Click Start.

The presentation opens in its own window. Submit it at the end and the run is recorded against that lead type, so it counts towards what your path asks for.

Pick the state you will actually be selling in. It decides the products and rates the presentation shows, so practicing in the wrong state means rehearsing the wrong numbers.

Practice any lead type

  1. Open Sales and go to the Leads step.
  2. Click Practice Preso.
  3. Choose the lead type, language, and state.
  4. Click Start.

Same thing, with the lead type still to pick. Use this one when you want to run a deck your path does not ask you for.

Make it count towards your targets

Submit the presentation at the end of the run. A run you close without submitting leaves nothing behind.

A submitted practice run records itself, so there is nothing to log by hand afterwards. Logging it as well would count it twice. See logging presentations for the runs you did in the field with the app closed.

Resubmitting the same run corrects what was recorded rather than counting a second one, so fixing a mistake is safe.
