Taking your training
Work through your lessons and pick up where you left off
Pick up where you left off
- Open Training.
- Click Continue on your path. It takes you straight to the first page you have not finished.
Your dashboard carries the same Continue button, so you can go straight there without opening Training first.
On your first visit the button reads Start instead.
Work through a page
- Read the page.
- If it has a quiz, take it. See quizzes.
- Click Next.
A page with no quiz counts as done as soon as you open it. A page with a quiz counts as done when you pass it, which is what unlocks Next.
The rail beside the page shows the other pages in that lesson and lets you jump back to any you have finished.
Go back over something
Click Training, open the module, and pick the lesson. Anything marked complete stays open forever, so you can reread a page or retake a quiz whenever you want. Retaking a quiz you have already passed never costs you the pass.
Check how far along you are
Open Training. Each path shows the percentage you have finished, how many modules are complete, and a row per module:
| Module shows | Meaning |
|---|---|
| A tick | Finished. Open it to review |
| A play icon | Started, not finished |
| An empty circle | Not started, and open to you |
| A padlock | Locked |
| Optional | Not required, and open whenever you like |
If a module is locked
Required modules run in order. A locked module opens as soon as every required module before it is complete, and the row says so.
So the fix is always the same: go back to the earliest module that is not finished and complete it. Optional modules never block anything.
If a page is locked
Pages run in order within a lesson, and a quiz-gated page holds the pages after it until you pass. Opening a locked page sends you back to where you left off, which is the page you need to finish first.
If your training says it isn't available for your role
Paths are assigned by role. A path that is not meant for your role shows as locked with a note saying so. If you think you are on the wrong role, ask your manager to check it.
If there is no training at all
A path has to be published to your agency before it appears. If Training says nothing is available to you yet, ask your manager whether your agency's training has been published.
