RecruitingCRM
Duplicates
Clear a duplicate flag so you can work the applicant
People apply twice. When a new applicant matches someone already in the CRM, they're flagged, and their actions are locked until you clear the flag. That's what stops two agents calling the same person.
Clear a flag
- Open the flagged applicant and compare them to the record they matched.
- Decide:
- Dismiss if they're a different person. The flag clears and you can work them normally.
- Confirm if it's genuinely the same person applying again. The new record closes as a duplicate.
Dismiss more often than you'd think. Two people really do share a name and a state, and a household shares a phone number.
What gets flagged
An applicant is flagged when they match someone already in the CRM on:
- the same phone number, or
- the same email, or
- the same first name, last name, and state together
Flagged applicants are still created.
